Jewellery or Jewelry

Whether you call it jewellery or jewelry, we design and make every piece. Should you require the piece to be longer, shorter, or in different colours, just let us know and we will see what we can do.

What is sterling silver?

For an item to be classed as sterling silver, it must consist of at least 92.5% silver.

What is Karen Hill Tribe silver?

Karen Hill Tribe silver is made up of 99.9% pure fine silver, and can often be found in the form of handmade beads and pendants. We source our Hill Tribe silver from reliable suppliers who make sure that all profits go direct to the Hill Tribe craftsmen and silversmiths.

What is Peyote beadweaving?

Peyote is the name of a type of stitch used in beadweaving. The beads are woven together by hand, and when completed, no thread shows between the beads or rows, creating a cloth of beads.

What is MailleWork?

Maille, or chainmaille, is a technique of connecting rings to form a flexible material. First used in Roman times as a form of armour, it has been adapted to create jewellery and sculptures. There are many different weaves, originating from Europe and Asia, which can be combined to create beautiful work.

Special Requests

Is there something you want that you dont see here? Send us an email describing what you would like to order. Be sure to include as much information as you can, including any colours you require, and any additional information you think we need to know (for example, unusual wrist sizes for bracelets).

Care for your jewellery

All of our pieces are made with care, and while they are strong enough to withstand daily wear, they are not unbreakable. Sterling silver will tarnish with time, but there are ways to keep this to a minimum. When not wearing it, keep your jewellery in airtight containers. Keep contact with body sprays, perfumes and deodorants to a minimum, and try not to immerse them in water too often.
